A fine pair of Victorian-era earrings. These earrings are crafted from 14K Yellow gold. They feature a french ear wire that is soldered to a shield and a bezel set seed pearl in the center. The shield suspends a holly berry-like form. The center of the berry motif suspends the almost beehive swirl. They are a lovely articulated earrings. The swirl alternates with a stamped gold impression as well as the plane swirl. The earrings are finished with a simple gold-filled ball at the bottom which is a more modern replacement. These earrings are in good condition with normal wear for their age, very very very minor indentations from use. These earrings are not hallmarked but test as 14K with gold-filled bottom ball dangles.
