This is a very impressive ring. It is crafted from 18K Yellow & White Gold. The center stone is an earth mined ruby. The ruby measures in at roughly 1.75 carats (8.4mm x 7.3 mm x 3.5 mm). The ruby is a deep red with purple and pink undetrones. The stone does have natural inclusions with a well saturated color. It is mounted and secured with yellow gold prongs. Surrounding the ruby is a halo of diamonds also set in prongs. The ruby and halo are a bit raised from the underlying sholders. The shoulders of this ring feature open work in yellow and white gold. There are many diamonds set throughout in white gold. All of the diamonds are brilliant cuts. This ring is in excellent condition with minimal wear. I do not see any damage to the stones. The only thing I see is evidence of it being resized at the back.
