Massive Barry Stein Oregon Artist Bronze Sculpture "The Last Samurai" Japanese Warrior 7/90 Casting - image 1 of 14

Massive 2008 bronze sculpture of a Japanese warrior titled "The Last Samurai", by Oregon artist Barry Stein. The bronze figure is in full armor ready to strike, with his katana sword held high and a wonderful expression on his face. This is from a limited edition of just 90 castings of which this is #7 and showing a brilliant and rich use of color patination and other metals to complete the sculpture.

It comes with attached marble base and with a swivel mechanism built into the marble for you to turn it around and fully appreciate the beauty and marvel of this magnificent piece. It is signed and numbered as shown and the marble is signed Stein on bottom. It is in excellent condition with some areas of minor surface wear but no major damages or issues.

It is about 36" tall and 19" wide at the base and 17" deep with his scabbard sticking out.

Mr. Stein's work can be found in collections throughout the world, and are presently on display in major hotels and galleries throughout the U.S., as well as galleries in England, France and Germany.

This is a HEAVY piece at 91 lbs. It will be shipped freight and most likely crated.
