Bold Ikat Silk Woven Japanese Kimono Robe

Done with a range of natural greens, the large six petal flowers have splashes of red. The silk is woven with Ikat technique to depict the pattern. The silk is in good crisp clean condition. The kimono is long large size, made in Japan, circa 1930 – 50. The cotton lining has a block print leaf design. The brown beige is also cotton. It is not in perfect condition, but is very good. There was a tiny spot on the inside bottom, and a loose thread under the arm. It measures 59 inches long, width shoulder across 26 inches, from the shoulder to cuff edge 13 inches. This is good for display, the forest greens look fabulous, or to wear.
