I found this item in a old pub in the Ardennes of Belgium. The owner told me that his grandfather was the first pub owner and he always went for hiking holidays in the Black Forest, Germany and Swiss. His grandfather told him a story that he survive a attack by a bear during one of his walks. And this pewter was a memory at that day. The pub owner smiled and said..maybe it was a strong story to his grandchild.
