Wonderful Aesthetic Victorian pair of brass candelabras. They have a round arched handle with a candleholder on each side. A total of nine prisms hang from the platform beneath each candle holder. (Originally there were a few more but these can be attractively arranged so none will be missed. A lovely owl is in the middle of the openwork design. This same "Candlabrum" is featured on page 63 of " A Brass Menagerie Metalwork of the Aesthetic Movement by Anna Tobin D'Ambrosio". The only difference is the one pictured in the book has been polished and is missing all of the prisms. A great example of Aesthetic Victorian design! Circa: 1880. Dimensions: 14.5"H x 9.5"W x 6.5"D. Condition: Very good original condition in "as found" unpolished finish. Price: $1450 for the pair.
