This is a pair of Charles Ahrenfeldt antique hand painted plates. The plates are 8 1/2" wide. They are hand painted with ears of corn in yellow with green and gray leaves and husks. The plates are embossed on the rim and slightly scalloped, with green and red trim. Each plate is 8 1/2" wide. They have a green crown mark with the word Saxe on the back. C. Ahrenfeldt used this mark at their Austria factory from 1886-1910. The plates are in excellent condition with no chips or cracks.
