This is a vintage Chikaramachi mark piece of Noritake Art Deco Lustreware, hand painted with an autumn lakeside country scene. The blue lustre form the sky in the background. The celery has self handles. It is 12 1/4" x 5 1/2." There is black trim on the rim. The celery has no chips or cracks, it is in excellent condition. Noritake used the Chikaramachi backstamp of a crown in a wreath for their pieces made at the Chikaramachi Street factory in Nagoya, Japan, between 1928-1946.
