At one time there must have been a set of seven towels with all kinds of household duties depicted on them in cross stitch and embroidery, but only Tuesday has survived. The poor gal on this 35” x 33” towel is hoisting a huge sad iron (I’d be more than just sad!) to get her ironing done. The look on her face says it all! The towel not only has the blue scene cross stitched, but the edges are hemmed in a large blue accent stitch. This could almost serve as a tablecloth for a small table. The piece is very clean with no holes or tears. It’s adorable.
