The rolling paper box locket pendant is a well preserved and rare example
of beautiful enamel work of Edwardian period C1900.

The locket's top lid adorned with fine hand painted enamel
scene of elk in it's highest magnificence, among grassy valley between mountains .

The bevels on front and back lids adorned with intricate hand carved patterns.

The inner sides of the lids are equipped with rolling paper holders
with open work words "HELLO" and "BILL".
One holder is also stamped STERLING and B.M.CO.
The back of the locket has an inscription
"O.F. Morgan Cambridge 839".

The locket weighs 19.1 grams.

It measures 2 5/16" X 15/16".

There is no chips on enamel.
Silver has patina spots appropriate for the age.
No missing parts, the latch closes with nice click.

Excellent antique condition commensurate with age.
