Amazingly detailed Victorian silver beer tankard fob pendant C.1885.

Painstakingly crafted 3 repousse motifs:

-a figure of a monk holding a beer stein and a scripture tablet in his hands.

-hop leaves

-ripe barley ears

All of them are set up on the top of fine chased background.

The opening lid is ornamented with repousse hop leaves.
There is a cartouche under the monk's figure with number 1885.
The stein handle is stamped 800.

The stein measures 1 1/4" X 1".

Excellent antique condition commensurate with age.
There are some inscriptions inside the stein and the lid.
