Sculptor, Evanston, Illinois, since 1947; teacher art, lecturer, Evanston Art Center, 1957-1962; teacher art, lecturer, Bernard Horwich Jewish Cmty. Center, Chicago, 1960-1978; teacher art, lecturer, New Trier H.S., Winnetka, Illinois, 1968-1970. Art fair coordinator, juror numerous art fairs, Chicago, 1970-1985. Rita Sargen-Simon has been listed as a noteworthy sculptor, art educator by Marquis Who's Who. Member: Sculpture Group Gallery (board directors), Pacific Rim Sculpture Group, International Sculpture Center (professional), Chicago Artists Coalition, Bedford Gallery Regional Center for Arts (art docent, art education committee), East Bay Women Artists.
