Incredible STAFFORDSHIRE Figural Inkwell in excellent antique condition complete with inserts! A man and two women are playing chess. The top comes off to reveal the inserts and holders which have molded old men's faces. The top is numbered and initialed by the artist. Pretty amazing condition for something nearly 200 years old.
Base is approximately 6" by 5" by 4" tall.
Without damage or restoration. Both inserts are present and good.
