A splendid large book with 120 color photographic plates. Most photographs in this book originated in Tanzania, which boast an elephant population of more than three hundred thousand-one of the world's largest. Reinhard Kunkel is known throughout the world for his photography and writings on the African animal.

Starting on page 241 are the photos in black and white with captions under each one.

The book is large measuring 13 1/2" X 10 1/2", 255 pages. It appears to be new and unread. Dust jacket and pages are in excellent as new condition. It also appears that I am the only one to have flipped through the pages.
