Beautiful Japanese KIMONO Shinto Wedding Traditional Cranes

This kimono is very lovely, featuring cranes, and flowers on a silver thread. This is vintage gown so it shows normal wear. Cranes are said that its symbols are good fortune and longevity because of its fabled life span of a thousand years. So often, you will see cranes on a Japanese wedding gowns.
This particular gown is use in traditional Shinto Wedding (Shinzen Kekkon) this began during the early 20th century.The ceremony relies heavily on Shinto themes of purification, and involves ceremonial sake drinking of three cups three times, the nan-nan-san-ku-do.
