A shiny and silvery salt with a Victorian design of Egyptian Revival that was influenced by Napoleon’s conquest of Egypt. The salt has chaste designs of flowers and a geometric band at the mouth. The feet are pharaoh heads and lion feet.

There are no hallmarks or labels.

MEASUREMENTS

2 ¾” (7.0 cm) diameter x 1 3/4” (4.4 cm) tall. Weighs 2.4 oz (75 g)

CONDITION

There are no breaks, dents, or cracks. It has much silver and has polished up well. There is wear and black spots to the central well and bottom.

A great artistic object to grace the table. I love the pharaoh heads.
