Fabulous 1940s STERLING Penguin Bird Rhinestone Earrings - Figural - Screw Backs

What a fabulous pair of vintage earrings! They are made of sterling silver with a gold wash in the design of penguin birds. The breasts of the penguins are in contrasting silver color and are set with clear rhinestones. The earrings are the old screw on style and measure about 1" by 1/2" at the widest. Marked STERLING on the screws. Good condition with light age wear including some wear to the enamel paint of the eyes and light wear to the gold wash. Great find for the figural jewelry collector! You will love them!
