Fabulous WEDGWOOD Sterling Blue Jasperware Angel & Horses Brooch

What a fabulous vintage brooch! It has a sterling silver setting with a flower and leaf shaped design. The setting holds a gorgeous deep blue Wedgwood jasperware center with a raised cream colored design of an angel in a horse drawn chariot and a man. The blue is a little deeper in color in person. The brooch measures about 2 1/8" by 1 5/8". Marked STERLING with makers mark of +W+ on the setting, and WEDGWOOD with a + sign impressed into the porcelain. Good condition with light age wear. Upon close inspection, I noticed some fine lines on the back of the porcelain that are not seen on the front. This is such a beautiful example of fine Wedgwood jewelry! You will love it!
