Gorgeous all original Antique Christening Set from early century period. It consists of Cape, Gown and Bonnet.

It fit for antique huge baby or child french bebe doll. Please check the measurements given on your doll. Great addition to the item collector.

The three pieces made of pure silk in delicate beige tone and meticulously embroidered by hand with pure silk threads. The cape and bonnet lined in extremely fine silk.

The cape measures 30” (76 cm) from neck to hemline. The overcape measures 18,5” (47 cm) from neck to hemline.
The Gown measures 7,5” (19 cm) across shoulders and 27,5” (70 cm) shoulder to hemline. The sleeves measures 3,5” from underarm to hemline and 6” from the shoulder to hemline.
The Bonnet measures aprox. 9” (23 cm) side to side through the brim and 9” (23 cm) around the neckline.

The Cape is in very good antique condition, except for some damage in fragile areas in the lining: one tiny hole in the lining of the over cape, fragile area around the neckline-inside the cape, on the lining and also 4 cuts on the lining due to age. The exterior is all in very good condition.
The Gown is in very good antique condition except for one small hole on the right sleeve, one small hole on the left side of the front. The back has a vertical line stained.
The Bonnet is in very good antique condition except for some cuts on the crown area of the lining (inside the bonnet). Please note that the silk of the Bonnet has not the same shine as the cape and the gown.
