Here is a wonderful doll, The doll is very unique, she was made by the well know doll maker and collector of Fine Antique dolls. This was made By Lorna Lieberman, in 1988. The doll is an Award Winnder, First Place Blue ribbon. The doll is friends with Izannah Walker, or so they say, the doll is named Chesley Oriole and she is signed on her back with date, name of doll and artist. The doll is wonderful, look at the detail of the face with the sculpted and painted features, from the fingers to the toes. The doll is wonderfully dressed in period clothing and her wonderful straw shaker bonnet. The doll stands 21" tall. She is one of the most charming dolls I have had in my hands. She is wonderful and in great condition. Sadly, Lorna Passed away in 2021, so no more dolls. She had her own shop and went on to Volunteer at The Wenham Museum In Wenham MA. She becam a doll curator, she was a member of the UFDC as well as The Doll Collectors of America. She was known to speak at doll convention. She also donated dolls to the Natioanl Museum of Toy and Miniatures, in Kansas City. This is the first time I have ever had the opportunity to hold one of her dolls. She is truly wonderful, you wil love this doll, there is no detail that is missed. She is missed and you will find it very hard to find another one.
