Surely out of a dream comes this salon creation.... a perfect display of the incredible talents of designer Ceil Chapman ~ a favorite of Elizabeth Taylor and Marilyn Monroe. Our mannequin's way-too-slender frame simply does no justice to the superb feminine silhouette this piece creates. A curvaceous, boned bodice with sexy yet elegant neckline (with a most regal and subdued turned up collar at the rear) will accommodate up to a 38" bust and a 28" waist. With hips of 38" accentuated by a swooping and deeply angled sash, the skirt finishes in a loosely gathered wrap-around front.

As show-stopping as the style and silhouette is the divine red color! A rich luxurious ruby red~ the ultimate breath taker. The fabric~ an incredible silk faille. Alas, adjectives fail to describe the fabric.

The dress is hand sewn and bears the salon custom black and white Ceil Chapman label. Couture quality. Fiercely independent styling. If it fits, I envy. Imagine the power and persuasion when wearing this dress.

Condition: Excellent. We only very lightly steamed the dress, and recommend a professional steaming.
