A beautiful ensemble is fabricated from cognac colored, exquisite velvet (most likely rayon or a blend). Maxi dress Features a form fitting bust, empire waist, sexy and sophisticated in the closed back and bare arms and slightly bare front of the torsion. Looks to have been shortened at the hem (not a great hem, but that is beside the point) and retains a 4 1/4" seam allowance and a current length of 56". Metal zipper secures the back. Hook and at the rear of the collar. Jacket features wide collar, embroidered pattern that echoes the golden highlights of the velvet. Three velvet covered buttons close the jacket. Donald Brooks Boutique Label in the jacket.

Excellent vintage condition with a couple of small wrong ways in the velvet. Dress is unlined. Jacket is lined in rust silk.
