This highly ornate desk tray measures 11 1/2" wide, 9 1/2"" deep and 5 1/2"" tall. It is made of cast brass and quite heavy at 6 pounds.

The ornate casting features classic motifs on all surfaces; large urns flanked by a phoenix on either side of the letter holder plates with smaller flower filled urns on the two semi-circular side pieces and bows, foliage and scrolls galore....very fancy.

The two inkwell holders, letter holder plates and well lids are separate castings and are attached with with slotted-head screws . Two thin brass inkwells are a perfect fit and original to the piece.

In excellent condition with no damage.
