Retired Kenneth Woodall Old Georgia Town w/ Ford Building & City Cafe Americana Folk Art Color Print in Burl Wood Frame
Inspired by small towns of the 1950s and '60s, Kenneth Woodall (born 1942) is a folk artist residing in the southern Appalachians. His art is whimsical and rendered in bright colors to grab your attention. This listing is for a vibrantly colored, art print found at a local NC estate and framed in a lovely, burl wood veneer frame. It depicts small town life, and includes the Talbotton City Cafe and local J. A. Battle Ford Company in the background. (Note: Talbotton is a real town in Georgia with a population of less than 800 in 2019.).
The wood frame is 15" wide and 11" high. The image view measures 13 3/8" wide and 9 3/8" high. It is in very good condition with small areas of frame corner wear. The art appears without damage and has not been viewed outside of the frame.
Ken Woodall's original art can be found at various museums located in Augusta, Atlanta, Royston and Demorest, Georgia. (Please pardon the camera reflections on the frame's glass.)
