This is an incredible, original oil painting rendered by Harry Jarman in 1977. It is an earlier work by this self-taught artist and showcases a serene still life of farm fresh eggs in neutral earth tones. It is signed and dated by the artist, JARMAN 1977, in the left lower corner. The painting in its frame measures 17" wide and 14" high. The painting, excluding frame, is 11 3/4" wide and 8.5" high. The traditionally carved wood frame extends about 1.5" from the wall. The painting is in excellent condition and without stains, holes, rips in the canvas. The paint colors are very nice. The wood frame shows scattered nicks and has been recently cleaned and conditioned with lemon oil. This is a very attractive painting by a well-collected artist, artistically suited for farmhouse inspired decor.
