Magical Boulder Opal Diamond Ring 2.06ctw ~ This is an incredible natural opal with fascinating properties. As you look though the stone you can see pieces of host rock and jelly-like opal, which has awesome colors that shine through. The opal is accented by 2 exceptional diamonds and a simple yet elegant band.

The opal has a perfect symmetrical pear cut with a smooth cabochon polish. The opal measures 14mm x 9mm x 3mm, 2ctw. The diamonds are bright white VS2-SI1 F-G 2mm each, an additional .06 carats.

The setting is 14k yellow gold, it is tested and stamped 14k. The ring is sized right between 7 1/2 and 7/34, and you can resize if needed. The face measures 9/16" high (North~South) x 9/16" wide and the face of the stone sits 5/16" up off your finger. The ring weighs 3.65g.

The ring is in excellent vintage condition. There is no damage to the opal, no chips or cracks, no crazing or breaks and no scratchy wear on the face. The gold shows slight wear commensurate with age, however there is no damage or repairs to the setting. You will love this unique and rare opal...this truly is a special stone!
