This attractive, French silver ring carries a glittering red paste. I am dating it to circa the 1930’s – 1950’s. It is unmarked but tests as 800-900 silver quality.

The oval stone measures 18mms by 12mms. It fits a US size 8 and UK P½. It weighs 4.9 grams.

The blood red stone is delicately faceted with a flat top. It is open backed for maximum sparkle. It is held in place by 4 claws and is bezel set. On either side of the stone are curved bars.

The plain silver band carries a lozenge shaped maker’s mark on the back.

In excellent vintage condition, this is a ring which is sure to impress. It will arrive in a gift box.
