These are fabulous original antique leather doll boots with low black heels and brass side buttons. The soles are a lighter color and I believe they had an identification mark on the sole but they have been worn to the point that they are illegible. The boots are soft and supple and have only wear rubs along the bottom edges. The leather is firm and should be around a long, long time. The seams are intact, and the boots have white double stitching around the scallops at the top of the boots and single white stitching around the buttonhole scallops. I would prefer antique boots to replaced vintage boots, even with the wear around the bottom edge, any day of the week and on any doll that they fit. OUTSIDE MEASUREMENTS: 3 inches long and 1-1/8 inches wide at the widest point.
