What a good looking pair of German bisque child figurines! The modeling is fantastic. They are both incised on the bases with the mold number "5396" and their country of origin "Made in Germany." The colors are in blue, white and lilac. Both children have very detailed modeling of their hair. The delicate facial features are spectacular with molded eyelids, blue eyes, eye shadow and very light blushing to their cheeks. The girl has an open/closed mouth with a smile showing molded teeth. The boy has a closed mouth. The clothing is decorated with beading and gold luster. I have found no damage to either piece, no chips, hairlines, breaks and no restorations.
