This is a nice later jointed German body that was used on later dolls, such as celluloid, later bisque shoulder heads or even composition. It is a nice body made of a less expensive material. It is missing the lower arms and pieces of celluloid are stuck in the arm holes so I am assuming this body had a celluloid head. The body is in excellent condition with no loose seams and no leaking. The wraps covering the knee joints have lost a piece of thread. Otherwise, it is complete. The opening for the top of the arms is 3/4 in. across. The body is 14-1/4 in. long. The body will need a 4-1/4 in. wide shoulder plate and 2-1/4 in. thick.
