Antique 19th c. Regency Peat Bucket with brass liner and bail handle. Wonderful patina. The wooden staves alternate in color to create an attractive harlequin effect. Measures 13 1/4" tall not including handle x 11 3/4" in diameter at the top. Desirable shape - perfect for use on the hearth, as a planter or library wastebasket. Good condition consistent with age and use.
