This is a lovely vintage print of an Indian Maiden. She is by the water and is looking toward the audience. It is signed in the plate at the lower right by Arthur DeForest, which is one of the pseudonyms used by R. Atkinson Fox. At the lower left is a copyright symbol. This image is shown on page 193 of the R. Atkinson Fox book by Patricia L. Gibson. It is titled at the bottom center "Pride of the Blue Ridge."

It is in a blue and gold wood frame with glass, a dust cover, and a wire for hanging.

Size: The frame measures approximately 10" tall and 7 1/2" wide.

Condition: No damage noted. It looks like the glass has a few bubbles and could use a cleaning on the inside.
