This is one of several vintage prints of Alaskan sled dogs being listed in the shop. Many of these prints were actual menus done for the Alaskan Steamship company by the American artist Josephine Crumrine (1917-2005). She was known for her portraits of sled dogs. Her signature in the plate is below the dog. The dog's name, is beside the image. This one is titled "Cheechako."
They are in matching wood frames with designs and are painted gold. It has glass, a slightly torn dust cover, and a wire for hanging.
Size: The frame measures approximately 9 1/4" tall and 6 1/4" wide.
Condition: No damage noted. However, there are some green lines visible around the border. They have not been examined outside of the frame.
