Antique ca 1920 3 small serving implements, silver plated business ends and ferrules, mother of pearl handles. We have a sardine fork that can be used for relishes, a preserves spoon, and a broad blade spreader knife nice for butter, soft cheese, cheese ball, etc. . The knife is marked for Hartley, Baxter, and Company, Sheffield. These mother of pearl and sterling or silver plated ferrule serving implements and table fancies were popular and inexpensive in their day, not particularly well made but charming, and the plating tends to be found very worn, and the handle parts often not very well fitting.
The preserves spoon measures just under 6.25 inches, and has a lot of wear in the engraved bowl, as shown. The fork measures 6 inches and has a natural grain crack on the side of the handle as shown. The knife measures just under 6.25 inches, and has a split in the ferrule on the side, but is attached tightly. Freshly hand polished.
