Exquisite 19th C. English " The Palace companion " miniature needle sewing compendium , measuring 3 inches wide x 2 inches deep x 1 3/4 inches high : on the top of the box is a green silk cushion with floral chromo : when open there is a delightful chromo lithograph depicting angels decorating a shoe with a rose garland , the 4 packets of needles lift up to reveal a mirror and small drawer which opens and drop down front : considering it's age this little gem is in a good used condition except light wear & soiling commensurate with age : please note that I can see a tiny area of damage to the silk cushion ( please see last photo ) : please study the photos as these form part of the description : a really delightful miniature sewing needle box perfect for displaying with your favourite Huret or fashion doll OR would make a great addition to a sewing collection.
