There are six oval cut rubies measuring 4mm x 3.1mm totaling approximately 1.50 carats with ten 2mm white sapphires totaling approximately 30/100 of a carat. The total gemstone weight is approximately 1.80 carats.
The six natural rubies are bold and well saturated, with a deep, rich red color and a good cut. In between the pairs of rubies are four sets of round cut white sapphires, pairs of two and three, channel set with white gold backgrounds.

The ring is set in a 14K yellow gold setting meaning it has 58.3% fineness of pure gold. Circa 1980's, the ring measures 1/4 of an inch from top to bottom, 7/8ths of an inch from east to west, and sits up 3/16ths of an inch from the finger. Ring size 8 1/4, the ring can be sized up or down by a good jeweler. The total piece weighs 4.0 gras.
