There are eight natural rubies, measuring 4mm x 3.1mm weighing approximately 25/100 of a carat for a total of two carats! In between the two rubies at the top and two below are two white sapphires weighing approximately 12/100 of a carat. The rubies are a deep rich red color and the sapphires are bright, sparkling, white. The total carat weight of all the stones is 2.12 carats.

The earrings are set in a marked & tested 14K yellow and white gold setting, meaning they have 58.3% fineness of pure gold. I love the eight bright bars of yellow gold at the top and bottom of the pairs of rubies and white sapphires. Stunning earrings!
