Stellar quality mid 19th century goblet with thick and heavy caned stem. Generally thick and solid construction.....but, wow! This has been wheel engraved with bellflower or trumpet flowers of some kind within the bowl. This has clear glass that is cased over cranberry and cut back as you see. About 8 3/4" tall and about 4 1/4" wide base. Super high quality glass that rings like a bell. I am quite certain this is most likely St Louis glass. Just fantastic quality that will be felt when you grab it. Unfortunately I cannot capture this with just photos. Undamaged and excellent to display. I have never seen another quite like it.
