The original photograph was taken at Moresani - an organic farm in Southern Italy, on the borders of the beautiful Cilento National Park. It has been gicléed using archival quality inks.

There is a range of mountains nearby which means there are frequent, but in the summer at least, short lived storms.

This photograph was taken just after the rain stopped, on a hot, and humid afternoon.

The semi wild lilies had grown into an enormous clump - perhaps four yards by two and perhaps 5 feet tall.
The lilies were dense and luminious in the post-storm light.
The drops you see are just rain drops.
