These two volumes bound as one in a fine solid binding with marbled boards, leather spines and corners contain Twenty Eight brightly coloured FABULOUS hand coloured plates.


Dating to 1839-40 the Floricultural Cabinet is a delight for any gardener or admirer of flowers - and is full of information and advice that may well be heeded today!
Besides the hand coloured plates there are also various diagrams - I've added one giving advice on how to plant a rosary - a rose garden ..

In really nice condition - this is a gorgeous work of art - and deserves to be admired as such.

A little wear to the marbling and edges. Very little foxing.
A few pages are somewhat tanned and is so often the case with hand coloued plates - some of the colour has transferred to the adjoining page
