Vintage sterling silver tea infuser / tea ball in the shape if a tea kettle. The lid is hinged and closes securely with an attached chain and finger ring. This is in excellent estate condition, near new. Comes in the original presentation box which is in poor condition. Sterling tea infusers were most popular around the 1890-1910 time frame. The varieties in shapes and sizes of the infusers made by manufacturers and individual silversmiths during that time are extensive. Pictured as received with natural aged patina.
