This is a truly wonderful plate that brings the sunshine to a cloudy day! This is one of the last of the daffodil species that bloom for the spring. Curtis Marker has painted it so well it appears to be ushering out the springtime and bringing in warmer weather. The artist has started this painting with soft muted colors of pinks, blues and yellows for the backdrop of his masterpiece. For the main focal point he has painted beautiful Pheasant Eye Daffodils. Two of the flowers he has chosen to have facing straight forward allowing the beautiful red and yellow centers of the gorgeous white flowers to be seen. He has added two additional blossoms giving a side view to this wonderful flower. The green foliage has been painted in soft sea foam green. The golden rim finishes up this beautiful plate. Curtis Marker, Famous Porcelain painter for Pickard Studios, has signed this piece. Piece is in excellent condition, no cracks, chips or crazing.
