Wonderful antique oil painting on stretched canvas, masterfully painted, of a mother cat and her kittens, signed illegibly on the lower right. Dimensions framed are 36-1/4 by 26 inches, and actual canvas is 30 by 20 inches. Condition is excellent and ready to hang. There are old well done repairs on the back of canvas. The lovely old frame appears to be the original and has a few areas of missing gesso. The painting came out of an old upstate NY estate.
