A traditional style Scottish silver brooch with large Cairngorm center stone from the mountain range of the same name in the north of Scotland. Similar to a citrine or topaz used in may pieces of Scottish jewelry. The stone is 3/4 inch wide, faceted and raised high with strong prongs. The surrounding stones are red jasper and green bloodstone with red flecks (Victorians were fond of this as they believed i purified the blood. All stones appear to be original. I don't polish antique pieces but if you prefer it, let me know when you purchase. I consider this a unisex piece.
