Early Victorian agate brooch measuring 2 inches across. In the center is a Cairngorm stone named after the mountain range in the north of Scotland. Similar to a citrine, rich in color and faceted to catch the light. The stone is set in an engraved 800 silver ring. The agates are varied with the gray Montrose agate standing out. With the usual slate back, "C" clasp on the era and silver rim.
A lovely gift for a man or woman. St Andrews Day is the 30th of November!
