This is an uncommon ivorine button--a thick pressed cameo of pyralin celluloid and solid unlike other ivoroid buttons. The cameo depicts Venus and sweet little Cupid. The impression is softly defined by the scanner but nicely visible in person. The ivorine has a brass cannonball inner border. It measures 1 & 3/8" large in very fine condition.
