Rare to find French paper doll with original 4 extra clothing ,
all hand colored with wonderful colors and together in generally excellent condition to age ..... France circa 1870 / 80

Declared as " Madame L´Imperatrice " .... " The Empress "

Rare to find and very beautifully lithographed double side young paper women with dramatic eyes and black hair with simple dress wearing and posed demurely.
She owns 4 elaborate double sided gowns for simple wearing , both sides of gowns are fine hand colored with beautiful details . Slipped the dress over the doll side for dressing and in a second she has on wonderful different look with elegant gown and a lot of painted accessory. Included of clothes two matching very nice bonnets ..........

The complete paper doll set was found in a antique paper bag !! Size of the doll......... 7 " ( 18cm )with fitting clothing.

Complete generally excellent condition... a little dusty but not disturbing .... note a slightly kinked at the doll base but no damage !!!
