It´s a very nice all original early folklore bonnet for your fashion doll , all hand made from
circa 1855 of Bourgogne region in France.

Has generally excellent original condition of two piece bonnet included an lovely round muslin cap with lace ruffled and loop ornate
front and an upper bonnet of round larger carton covered with black silk velvet and supern richly covered black hand made lace in ruffled rows and edged . Has nice high top with fine metal cord and tassel decoration .
Four long lose parts of black lace knowed as " Debordage " fall like cascade below the doll shoulders.

Very rare to find a original bonnet like this ..... from France circa 1855 of an original Bressane costume from beautiful part of France the Bourgogne ....

A lovely piece for your fashion doll trunk or as decoration piece for her dresser in her Boudoir de Madame ....

Would fit for your fashion doll about around 18 " / 19" ( 46 - 48 cm )
