Underneath, she wears an antique white cotton full slip with lace trim and a pair of antique white cotton pantaloons with lace trim. On her feet are a pair of antique cream knit socks and antique cream leather shoes with pink silk ties. On her head is an antique white lace bonnet with a ruffle all the way around and white ribbon ties; in her ears are a pair of earrings with faux pearl and pink cat’s-eye glass beads.

CONDITION: Excellent. The bisque head is free of any cracks, chips, hairlines, or restoration, with wonderful quality bisque and expertly molded and painted features. The original wood and composition body has some areas of touch up and expected age wear, but otherwise retains much of her original shiny finish, as well as the Handwerck stamp. The costume is wonderful, from the silk dress to the cotton undergarments; there is some age wear, and the leather shoes have been patched.
