Vintage Akoya Cultured Pearl Necklace with Georgian Revival Sterling Silver Gilt Hand Decoration

Measuring 31" long, here's a lovely Akoya pearl - saltwater pearl necklace that features a Georgian Revival silver gilt lady's hand. The pearls measure 7mm x 7mm approx and are a combination of round and slightly baroque. The color, I hope, shows as a deep cream with a rosy pink hue. The pearls are strung on cord and are knotted between each pearl. The extended hand decoration peeks out from under a ruffled lace cuff adorned with faceted red almondine garnets and faux round turquoise cabs. The had has not been polished and so retains a very old patina of age. Now the necklace has no clasp - it's simply a "throw over your head" piece of jewelry. Absolutely lovely and ready to be paired with more of its kind.
